Ballroom

There is no cooler place in the Charlottesville area to have a party, banquet or reception. There may be newer places with shiny florescent lights, but there is nothing that can match the nostalgic ambiance of the Fry's Spring Beach Club Ballroom.

The Ballroom can hold 500 dancing people today just as well as it did when the likes of Glenn Miller's Orchestra graced the stage back in the swing era. There is a stage for bands, DJ, or presentations. There are vintage deco-esque booths and tables for dining. There is even a disco ball to illuminate those late night shenanigans.

Retreats and Mini-conferences

With the variety of spaces and options for configuration, the clubhouse might be the perfect location for your group's retreat or mini-conference. Contact the manager to see how we can meet your group's needs.

Garden Terrace Room and Bar

If your event doesn't require the Ballroom, we have smaller, more intimate spaces available. The Bar has an old-fashioned polished wood bar, and can be arranged in a variety of ways with the adjoining Terrace Room to accommodate up to one hundred partiers or diners.

Lower Patio

The Lower Patio is a great location to host a cocktail hour or smaller event during the warmer months. The prime location offers fantastic views of the lower grounds and pool, and sits amidst towering hardwoods. The space can easily be configured to suit the needs of your event. Event tents and other event equipment can be rented to make this a popular location during any season.
