Conservation & Preservation at Fry's Spring Beach Club
Conservation
Fry's Spring Beach Club maintains 10 acres of land in the heart of the historic Fry's Spring neighborhood in Charlottesville, Virginia. This commitment to conservation is particularly significant as more and more historic tracts of land in this area continue to be developed into large-scale residential communities.
Preservation
With original parts of the structure dating to over 80 years, the Fry's Spring Beach Club clubhouse survives as an impressive example of tudor style architecture from the very beginning of the Fry's Spring neighborhood.
See the Cville Weekly's "Pooling Resources" article for a full overview of the preservation efforts.
